"OK, I think I've got it," Jackson said. He took A step forward and pressed a tile. It lit up green and Jackson clicked the next one. Then the next one, and the next one, and then the next one, and the next one, then the last one. The whole floor lot up green and the next sequence played. Jackson studied it and pressed the blank tile once more to watch it again. For a few moments, all Jackson did was press the blank tile to see the sequence. It was more complicated now.
Jackson sighed. This could get difficult.

With Jackson, Krikit tried to step on the tiles in order as well. He was a bit slower than Jackson, but still made an attempt, none the less. After all, he had to prove that he wasn't stupid... but puzzles were still challenging, none the less.
The tiles glowed all at once in an array of colors. Suddenly, the ground shook as they all lifted up as pillars, before the dead end revealed itself to be a tunnel. For all their efforts, they had gotten a shortcut.
(( The party has moved a floor ahead onto F5! ))
Beyond the tunnel, however, a few clouds could be seen beyond the trees- most of which were turning gray. It was only a few moments before it began to rain- and rather heavily at that.

Jackson walked through to the next floor with Krikit. After this one, two more floors to go. The next floor had a lot of clouds, which made Jackson worry. Then it began to rain.
Crap
Jackson couldn't see very far in the rain. It'd be difficult to find the end. Jackson thought for a moment.
"Any ideas, Krikit," he asked the Krikitot.

"Aw, great. Rain." Krikit said. Looking to his partner, he realized that the rain would weaken his partner; and more importantly, the rest of the floor would be pretty difficult too.
"Uh..." he looked around, spotting some large leafs, "... Hey, we could use these!" he said, running towards them and attempting to pull one of them out, but to no avail.

Jackson felt his fire dampen a little as he thought. He needed to come up with something faster. Jackson looked around, thinking and thinking. An idea clicked in his head. He looked at Krikit and saw him tugging at leaves. Jackson walked over and took a bite and two of them.
"That's should so it," Jackson thought as the Krikitot wrapped the leaves on Jackson's head, "Let's follow the wall and, eventually, we'll find the exit to the next floor."
Jackson set his flank against the wall and began to walking along with his side rubbing against the wall.

(( The party has moved onto F6! ))
Krikit hurriedly wrapped the leaves around Jackson's head, nodding at his directions. He followed the Growlithe as the rain continued, and only seemed to be coming harder and harder, as if pails of water were being dropped down, and the way ahead was becoming obscure.
"Geez, it might as well be hailing right now... huh?" the Krikitot said, finally opening his eyes to see that circular, gold things were falling down from the sky. It was raining poke!
(( You have obtained 85P! ))

Jackson walked along feeling rather silly with the leaves on his head, until something heavier than rain landed on his nose. Jackson flinched back, startled. He studied the heavy object further to see it was a gold coin. Poke. Jackson looked up. The money was coming down in sheets.
"What...the...heck..."
Jackson stood still for a moment until the money rain stopped. He scooped up some of it and pressed on. The next floor they would find the Exeggutor's items and the thief who took them.

"Geez... just when you think you know a dungeon. And I live here!" Krikit said in disbelief as he watched the last of the poke fall, "Too bad I can't really use any of it- but hey, more for you, right?" he said before moving on.
"So... are we any closer?" he asked the Growlithe, looking to him.
Ahead, there appeared to be a small pile of poke, as well as an orb. It might not have been just more random dungeon items, as several footprints seemed to be moving away from the small pile- this time clearly showing themselves to be a Buizel's, and looking to head right through the bushes. Yet, it seemed as if the pokemon should have headed for a wall, right?
(( You have obtained 46 poke and a Silence Orb (Gives enemies muzzled status, making the enemy unable to use any moves that involve their voice). ))

Jackson walked up to the next floor entrance. He looked at Krikit.
"I would say, yes we are," the Growlithe said, "This is our stop."
He entered and saw the items resting on the floor. He walked up and put the orb in his bag, as well as the Poke. Jackson did a double take when he noticed the footprints. Further study showed it was a Buizel. Interesting. Jackson pressed his nose to the ground and sniffed. He was picking up a slight scent, but the rain had washed most of it away. Jackson sighed and followed the foot prints to a bush. Jackson checked the bush. Nothing. Strange. Jackson knew something was up and he wanted to get to the bottom of it. Jackson took a deep breath and fired Flame Burst at the wall.

Krikit quickly moved back when Jackson shot the attack, "Hey, what'd I say about watching it?! Geez, you should really tell me when you..." he noticed the bush had disappeared, burnt up and now ash from the flame burst, and in it's place was a hidden entrance, "... Hey, an entrance! Think that leads to wherever you need to be?" he asked, looking to his companion.
(( You have moved onto F7! ))
Meanwhile, ahead in the entrance, a Buizel carrying quite a load was making it's way through the tunnel, "Come on, there had to be an exit somewhere..." he said, looking around nervously, "Then again, this is a mystery dungeon... so the chances of a pokemon actually finding me are pretty low, right? Right?"

Jackson crawled through the hidden entrance behind the bush. Hmm, what are the odds. His ears pricked up when he heard someone ahead speaking to themselves. Jackson grinned. This guy didn't know they were here. Jackson quietly padded out of the hole and snuck up behind the Buizel. He picked up his pace as he neared and his teeth began to glow blue. He was now sprinting right for the Buizel.
"Hello," the Growlithe shouted and he tried to chomp down on his opponent with Bite.

Kritkit hurried behind Jackson- he didn't have a chance to attack before, but now had to be a chance to prove himself! Running as fast as he could towards the enemy, he used Bug Bite, managing to bite onto the Buizel's tail, causing the pokemon to drop and spill his bag of items.
"Hey-" the Buizel said, but before they could say anything further, they saw the Growlithe coming towards them. They managed to step aside, dodging the attack, but didn't expect the second attack, "Get'off!" he yelled, throwing the Krikitot off of his tail before he shot a multitude of stars at both pokemon, using Swift- an attack guaranteed not to miss.

"Krikit," Jackson shouted. He didn't wan the bug to faint. Jackson touched down onto the ground and as the Buizel threw his Swift, Jackson charged him again. He intimidated the Buizel. His teeth glowed blue once more and he tried to Bite him again.

"Don't worry!" Krikit said, getting himself back up, "It'll take more than a thief to bring this bug down!" he said. An idea came to him, and he stepped back, "Come'on- hit me with your best shot!" he said, but winked at the Growlithe before he glowed white, using Bide to take the attacks- and hopefully survive enough to deal out the damage.
The Buizel flinched as he was intimidated, lowering his strength, and this time the Grolithe's attack hit, sending him back. He landed on his feet, "I'm not a thief! ... Just a professional borrower of sorts..." he said, and swinging his arm, sent a shock wave right for the Growlithe, using Sonic Boom.

Jackson saw Krikit glow white. Bide. Jackson had an idea. The Growlithe sprinted over to Krikit and jumped behind him as the Sonic Boom came flying at the two. He hoped it had hit the bug. After a few seconds, Jackson popped up over Krikit and shot a Flmae Burst right at the Buizel.
"Yes you're definitely a borrower," Jackson said sarcastically, "If borrow is a synonym for steal. Give up before we seriously hurt you."
