Most would regard Flower Hill to be a friendly, calm place full of even more friendly pokemon. Despite having to go through a mystery dungeon to get to the place, it was rather easy, and many would consider the commute worth it to get to a place so abundant with berries.
For Sandeha, however, it was quite the opposite. He never meant to get this far, away from the base, away from safety... He only wanted to get more berries, since it seemed as if they were running out of food, but everyone else in Parivara was busy. So, it was apparently up to him to collect berries. While hesitant, he convinced himself that so long as he didn't stray too far, everything would be fine.
Apparently, he was bad at following his own advice. He saw several ripe berries, and couldn't help but be consumed by the thought of delighting all the other orphans with such delicious food. It was only when he saw another pokemon go by him did he realize, in horror, that he had gone to far, and that surely he'd be attacked any moment by the pokemon around him.
Thankfully most of the pokemon seemed to ignore him, but he feared that soon another another pokemon would notice him and... and do something horribly bad to him. Gripping his basket full of berries, he stayed hidden in the bushes, and his colors almost made him blend in, if not for a white part at the top of his head.

Jackson wandered through the dungeon. He had been here looking for items and some easy training with the Wild Pokemon. They had been fairly easy to beat, but finding items was a different story and all the berry bushes seemed to be picked clean. Someone tame had walked through here.
"I wonder who," Jackson thought. The Growlithe continued his walking, keeping an eye out for someone else. He kept going until he was deep in the dungeon. He fought off a few more Pokemon and checked the bushes. They had berries still on them.
"Odd," Jackson thought. The berries were still here, saying either the person was still here and hiding, or hadn't come this far. He looked around a bit, looking for clues. He found a few tracks of a Pokemon that seemed to heavy for the wild ones in this dungeon. So the mystery Pokemon was still here Jackson had concluded. He kept searching. Jackson was about to give up when his ears pricked up. There was some rustling in a bush. He turned his head to the noise.
"Someone's there," he thought. He turned to the bush and walked up slowly.
"H-hello," Jackson said," Don't be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you."
Jackson saw some white against the green. A Snover...?

The Snover stayed in the bush, about to come out when he saw a figure of a pokemon come up. He was unsure of what kind of pokemon the dog-like figure could be, but he didn't want to find out, Please go away, please go away, please go away... the mantra continued in his head, his muscles tensing as-
Despite the fact that the pokemon had walked up slowly, Sandeha still yelped, jumping back in fear, "St-stay away!" he said, his voice wavering, "O-or... or else!" it was a somewhat empty threat, and while he didn't know what the pokemon was exactly, he guessed from the red that they must be a fire type, and he barely stood a chance against those. However, he still had his other moves, namely Swagger, so if the pokemon still persisted, he could hope to confuse the pokemon and get away.

(Would I be able to get some berries since we're in Berry Meadow)
Jackson looked in his bag for a peace offering as the Snover shouted at him to stay away. Nothing but Gravelrocks. He looked around for something else until his eyes settled on the bush in front of him. Of course! Jackson pulled off a Rawst Berry, showing he would not hurt the Snover with the berry that cures burns. The Growlithe decided to give the Snover some space until he warmed up to Jackson. Jackson went about collecting some berries for himself. He watched the Snover out of the corner of his eye while Jackson picked.

(( ICly, yes, although they wouldn't go in your official log. ))
The Snover continued to stay in the bush, having limited vision due to all the leaves and branches around him and in his face. Was... was the pokemon gone? Carefully, he poked his head out, looking to see the pokemon still too close for comfort and quickly dived back into the bush.
He couldn't stay here forever- for all he knew, this pokemon might just burn the whole bush down! He needed a battle plan, and fast, before the pokemon did anything else; he was convinced that he was in danger just by the pokemon knowing of his existence.
After some contemplating, he decided that he'd just rush out of the bush, and if the pokemon chased after, he'd use Swagger and run as fast as his legs could take him, Okay, ready... Go! he thought, jumping out of the bush... only to immediately fall right on his face, his basket of berries dropping to the ground and spilling out all the contents.

(Ok thanks for clearing that up) Jackson heard a loud thump behind him. The Growlithe turned around to see the Snover flat on his face. Jackson rushed over to help. Knowing how the Snover wasn't very trusting of him, Jackson decided to clean up the Snover's spilt berries. Jackson set the basket up right and went around picking up the berries on the ground. When he finished, he looked back at the Snover and sat down on his hind legs. He held his front paw up.
"Let me help you up," Jackson told the Snover in a kind voice.

Sandeha cursed his natural clumsiness and missing sense of balance. He had to hurry, though, since the Growlithe could be here any minute-
Lifting his face up enough to see, he was horrified at the sight of the pokemon touching his berries. The fact that he'd planed to share those with the other orphans made his fear disappear, and instead it was replaced with anger, "What do you think you're doing?!" he yelled, quickly getting himself up and ignoring his offer of help.
He'd expect that the Growlithe would run off with his berries now that the opportunity was present, but instead he just sat down...? For a moment, he felt confused, but quickly reasoned that he still had some sort of intention behind this.
He reached over, quickly grabbing his berries, "I-I don't nee any help!" he said, his voice wavered from his anger and whatever fear was still left. He stepped back, "If anything, I bet you would'of stolen these berries if I hadn't gotten up first."

"Steal them?"
Jackson got mad. He didn't usually get this mad and being called things didn't bother him. But being called a thief was a different story. He stood back up. Smoke fumed from his nose and he felt a fire inside him.
"I was trying to help you," Jackson yelled at the Snover, "If I wanted to steal your berries, I wouldn't have cleaned them up for you! I would have burned your ass with Ember till you stopped getting up and them stolen them! Secondly, I wouldn't have offered to help you! And thirdly, why would I steal them? We're in Berry Meadow! There are berries all around us!"
Jackson stood still, his muscles tensed and breathing deeply. Who did this Snover think he is anyway, accusing people of being thieves!?!?

Seeing the smoke trailing from his nose, the Snover assumed that his assumptions must have been right all along- although, his pride over this was mostly overridden with his body preparing for what he thought would be an oncoming attack.
Instead, he was hit by a verbal barrage, which seemed to burn just as much. He paused. It'd be easier to stay with his assumptions, but his mind couldn't help but mull over what the pokemon told him, all were good points. He could be wanting to gain his trust in order to use him, but as he thought about it further, he realized that might be a null point, seeing as how it'd seem easier to just burn him due to the double type advantage, as the other pokemon had been sure to tell him. Without any Parivara members, or even Papa around to reinforce his views, his questions finally had a chance to develop.
"... Y-you have a point." he said quietly, but loud enough for the other pokemon to hear. He couldn't help but feel embarrassed, like a child reprimanded, but also somewhat guilty. He supposed that no one, even actual thieves, would like to be called out as being one, "B-but... This is a dungeon, s-so you might have been some sort of dungeon pokemon who'd w-want to attack me..." he explained, but it was presented as more of an excuse.

Jackson sighed, his anger fading. It was a natural assumption, but he'd talked to the Snover. Since when do dungeon Pokemon do that? Jackson didn't bring it up cause he did just scold the crap out of this Snover. He was stuttering more than Jackson himself did. He smiled at the Snover.
"It's okay, I understand. Now will you let me help you up," Jackson said, putting forward his paw again.

Looking at the other pokemon's paw, Sandeha hesitated, as if they might really pull some last minute dirty trick. Despite his reluctance, he finally stuck his arm out, reaching for the other pokemon's paw, "... Why wouldn't you want to attack me?" he asked, more out of curiosity now.

Jackson thought on that for a moment. Why hadn't he just attack the Snover and taken everything he had? The answer: his brother. Everything Jackson did was motivated by the thought of his brother and the feeling Jackson had when he disappeared. He didn't want anyone else to feel that. Who knows who this Snover has back at wherever he came from? Tears had begun welling up in his eyes at the mere thought of his brother. He bit them back, determined to look strong.
No, no tears. Not yet, he thought. He looked down at the Snover again.
"Because I'm just not that kind of Pokemon," Jackson answered, Now are you going to let me help you up or are you going to continue lying in the dirt?"

Sandeha looked at the pokemon, waiting for his answer, but didn't expect to see... tears welling up? Or, at least he'd thought he'd seen them. He shook his head, deciding that it must have been his imagination; he couldn't imagine why such a question would cause anyone to cry...
"Oh, um, yeah..." he said after the pokemon answered, grabbing the pokemon's paw lightly, as if he still expected some sort of trick.

Jackson felt the Snover lightly grip his hand. He rolled his eyes.
"Oh, come on now. My father understands our generation faster than you can stand," Jackson joked as his hefted the Snover to his feet, "My name's Jackson, by the way."

Sandeha dusted himself off as he got up. The other pokemon's joke about his father reminded Sandeha about his own 'family'- were they worried about him? He was unsure of how long he was gone, but in any case he wanted to see them again. He could already imagine the scolding he'd get for being gone so long...
"... Sandeha." he replied, "Um, d-do you know the w-way around here...?" he said. Immediately after he realized that Jackson could try to lead him even more astray than he already was, but he reminded himself that there'd be no real reason to. Still, the Snover couldn't help but have his doubts.
