"IREEEAAAALLYDONTCARE!?!?!" Yelled Torren, as he blindly started running in a completely random direction. The voices in his mind were cheering him on, and the complete idiocy of the decision was thick enough to cut with a knife. In the mean time, he was flailing around the two femur-halves he always carried, screeching "BLAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!" followed by indecipherable, unintelligent gibberish.

On one hand, the Gastly was amused by their companion's antics, just as they would be with the reaction to a prank. They laughed heartily; however, they also knew that puzzles, while deceptively harmless, could be potentially dangerous. While their companion was running around, he went to the tree, reading it carefully before trying to solve it themselves.
"Hmm... Ah, I know!" the Gastly said, "As amusing as you are, I know that we should go this way!" the pokemon said, gesturing his body towards one of the paths.

"Oh.... Ok!"
Ooh, good choice of friends, Torrie, this one's smart!
Torren turned around, returning to the ghastly, then turning towerds the direction indicated. "Wow, you're smart, glad you're here or I might have done something wierd." he said.
How'd it figuer that out so fast?
This is pretty cool!

(( You have moved onto F4! ))
"Ah yes..." the Gastly said, looking towards Torren with an amused look on their face, "How embarrassing it would be if you did anything strange." after saying that, they laughed again.
Ahead, there appeared to be a Nuzleaf, looking fairly frightened, "Ah, uh... oh!" they spotted the two pokemon, "H-help! I owe all this poke to this pokemon and I ran into the forest, but I think they might be catching up to me..." they shivered, "You have to help me!"

There it is! The nuzleaf must be the one who owes Gengar!
Seeing his target, the cubone smiled, suddenly growing perfectly, eirily calm. "Calm down, calm down," he said, chuckling slightly.
"So... Is the person you owe... a Gengar, perhapse? Just, y'know, out of curiosity?"

The Gastly looked to the Cubone, tilting their head. Strange, from how he acted earlier, the Gastly would have guessed this was out of character. Unless... The Gastly made sure to not accidentally grin, so as to not give them away. They were unsure of what this was all about, for the sake of their own amusement, they were willing to go along.
"Yes! Yes he is!" the Nuzleaf shook their head quickly, "H-how did you know? Do you owe them too?" they asked with a tone of concern.

"Well... No. Not exactly. So... exactly how much DO you owe? It's a negative-reputation-by-ten mission, but perhapse I can help?"
Baaaad idea, Torrie, if it owes him, it owes him for a reason.
"Shut up," Torren snapped at a tree-branch, "I'm tryin to think."
Red-text may have a point...
"Oh, come on, not you too, teal..."
Torren is right. Maybe the nuzleaf's O.K...
"Well at least someone agrees with me," he said to a discarded rock on the ground.

The Nuzleaf could only watch Torren's 'conversation' with himself... was it himself? Willing to give some benefit of the doubt, they wondered if he were talking to a psychic type. What the heck did they mean by 'negative-reputation-by-ten mission', though? They looked to the Gastly, who only shrugged in response, although they seemed rather amused with the whole thing.
"Well... there's the protection fee... I did ask them for a lot of food one time... oh, and this one time I had to..." they mentioned all the various costs, mentally calculating how much they owed, "... All in all, I think my debts would be around 100,000..."

The cubone's jaw dropped as the totals added up. "Well then..." he said in an interested and not-too-friendly voice, "I'd say i'm underpayed... We're on floor 4, right? Yeah. THought so. Sorry I cant help but..." He cracked up halfway through the sentence, chuckling uncontrollably. " Hahaha well, whadda I care?" His unempathetic, edgy voice returned, with a matching sneer this time "You're going to have to come with me, pal..." Then, Torren did something even he didnt expect. looking the nuzleaf directly in the eye, he concentrated on the ground. His gaze intensifying and his grin widening, he leaned forewards, touching the ground with his paws gently. A single rock began unearthing Itsself. Concentrating on the rock, Torren hurled himself at the nuzleaf. Power flowed through him. Chaotic. Overwealming. He didnt know weather it would last or no, but he figured it might be a one in ten chance for him to keep it for a few turns,.... whatever that means. Awwww Yeaaahh! (Ooc)*And that was ancient power. Hurray for creative lisence. I know it doesnt work that way, but torren's wierd and it doesnt change the potential effect. If it needs changed, please tell me. Summery, Torren uses ancientpower(rock).*

(( Ah, no, it's fine! That was rather creative- I enjoyed reading it! So long as the main effect isn't affected, then it's all good. ))
Underpayed? Oh no, that meant... The Nuzleaf could only watch in horror as the Cubone revealed himself and his true intentions, unleashing an attack that, admittedly, they wouldn't have known they were even able to do such a thing.
Hit with the attack, the Nuzleaf was knocked back against a tree- a small indent was made on it from the force, "I should have known...!" they said, getting themselves, "I didn't want to do this, but-" they focused on the Cubone as a black force came over them- using Torment, the Nuzleaf prevented the Cubone from using the same moves twice.

The darkness stunned the cubone out of his power-drunken stupor. "Awww you broke my special-status..." He grumbled, in a voice that was incredibly annoying.
How rude of them.
That's allright, Torrie. I am sure there's nothing else you could have done. If you win this, no guilt trip penalty! consider it a reward for atleast trying. "Agh Shut up concience youre not helping!?" he yelled.
Snarling and muttering sarcastically, He went for a swipe to the right- no wait. the left.. Er... nevermind, that wasnt right(Didnt I allready say that?)... He seemed to completely miss on the last one, having pulled back on the last two as if uncertian. Turning sharply, instantaniously, he attempted to sholder-slam his opponent.
*Cubone uses false swipe. now... what exactly is Ghastly doing?*

(( Ah, sorry, I forgot to have them respond- but they will help with the fight. Also, apologies for the delay in a response. ))
The Gastly, attempting to help their friend, looked at the Nuzleaf right in the eye, using Hypnosis to make the opponent more drowsy and fall asleep.
It worked for a few moments, making the Nuzleaf stumble, but they quickly snapped out of it, and by the time they did, they were hit by the Cubone's attack. They approached the Cubone, making themselves appear weak- up until they suddenly hit the pokemon with a punch, using Faint Attack.

The cubone's jaw was at the recieving end of the attack. He stumbled back a bit, quickly regaining his ballance. All the voices in his head fell silent, and for good reason. orange-flying-text (who had only gotten three letters in before the incident, and thus wasnt colored in this post) hadnt gotten out of the way in time.
The cubone backed away, snarling. His snarl built up to a hatefull sneer. "You... you hurt the flying text. You... You..." he paused for a moment. "YOU! NO ONE HURTS THE FLYING TEXT!" he screeched, tossing his full weight forewards and then some, running forth to slam into his opponent headfirst.
*Cubone uses headbutt.*

The Gastly focused, and in a moment, looked as if they were in intense pain- as brought on by what looked like a sharp object going into them. This object disappeared soon enough, and the Gastly's HP was cut by half. However, the pain they experienced would now be transferred onto the Nuzleaf.
Seeing the attack coming, the Nuzleaf quickly dodged out of the way, avoiding the attack, "Just... what are you going on about?!" they yelled, wondering if this was the only pokemon they could get to track them down. When a sharp, intense pain came to them, they kneeled down, "Wh-what..." they said, unaware of where the pain came from, up until they spotted the Gastly laughing to themselves. Glaring, they stood up, making sure to Torment the Gastly as well- too bad for them that the damage was already done.

Still in a frenzy from the 'orange text' incident, Torren lunged, screeching incomprehensably and slashing forewards with his front claws in what could only be described as blind rage. As he did so,the unearthed rock nearby rose yet again, as if fueling his rage. Power flowed through him. Perhapse it would linger this time.
*cubone uses Ancient power.*
