Salthekwer, my newest and most thought out charactor, has a very hard to explain backstory. Essentially, he's fron another dimension in which all pokemon accept for dittos, legendaries, half-legendaries, ground-, fighting-, and basic-type pokemon are killed off by an odd disease.
As such, he has never seen most types of pokemon before. He left because a marowak named Terrence carried a ground-type afflicting strain of the disease, and escaped into this dimension. He brought an umbrion who was afflicted by the disease with him, as stated in his bio, so that he would return. neither the marowak nor the umbrion survived, but before dying, Terrence skullrot met young Torren Skullrot, my first charactor and Terrance Skullrot's alternate dimension dad.
That was about 6 years before Salthekwer arrived in this dimension. Think old spock and Nero from Star trek into darkness.
I am wondering, how can I make this affect the story? Aside from making Salthekwer and Torren seem to know eachother, and explaining where Torren got his skull.
