The Zubat is hit by the Quick Attack, and screeches in pain (68 for landing the hit). It falls to the ground, but quickly gets back up and charges, using Astonish. Lucky for you, you can fight some more rather than flinch in fear (33).
Zubat's Stats: Health 14/18 Moves: Astonish, Leech Life, Supersonic

(( I've PMed you; it doesn't have anything to do with this test thread, but rather with our thread with Sandeha and Jackson.
Also, could you calculate the chance for flinching? It's a 30/100 chance. ))

The Grovyle grunted as the attack hit him, but otherwise, managed to remain unfazed by the attack. He attempted to counter-attack yet again with quick attack, rushing forward, and praying that he didn't hurt himself instead.

A second hit is landed on the Zubat (55). It falls back a bit, but recovers once again to shoot Leech Life at the Grovyle.

(( Would it be alright with you if I gave my character a stronger move to speed things up? ))

(( How about 8 for his strength? ))
The Grovyle hated how disoriented he felt, but still refused to give up- he felt as if it wouldn't be so easy to anyways. He felt how super-effective the Zubat's attack was, but still had plenty of energy to go on. He rushed forward with Quick Attack.

The quick attack makes contact with the Zubat (14). It falls to the ground one last time, unconscious. It is now time to turn to the puzzle once more and solve it. The confusion had finally worn off (7), allowing for a clear head to tackle the puzzle once more.

The Grovyle shook his head, relived to fear normal again. Looking to the Zubat, he felt somewhat prideful for having defeated such a menace, but he knew he had to move on. He walked out of the cave, to what he had to do next.
(( How about after the puzzle, we end this test thread? ))

((Sounds good))
The puzzle is approached again. Suddenly, the answer is made very clear (16). The door linked to the number 5 button slides open and leads to the next room.

The answer was five? Ah, of course; he really should have thought about it a bit more. He headed towards the now open door, wondering what might be in the next room.
(( End it here? ))

((Imma end it with a big cliffhanger with a giant Legendary at the end))
A dark passage leads to a very large cavern structure. The ceiling raise high above the ground and it is shrouded in darkness. A shadow also remains shrouded in darkness. It stirs at a new presence in the room.
"Who dares enter my sacred home," the large figure spoke. The figure stepped out into the light and revealed itself. Arceus now stares down at the pitiful fool of a Pokemon that stands in its presence, "You will pay for desecrating this sacred place, you insolent fool."
Arceus now deals his Judgement to the intruder of his sacred alter.
