Along the ground, there was a small bag that didn't even look to be half full. A berry and some poke were already spilled out of it. Perhaps it was an indicator that the robbers had headed this very way, if it was even possible to follow the same path as another in a dungeon.
-
Zeerum followed after, heading into the dungeon, his calm appearance hiding all the senses that were at work, ready to face any danger that might come. Soon enough he noticed something, a small, split bag. At first, this seemed like an easy picking, but remembering the robbery, he wondered if this was what was leftover from what was stolen. He wouldn't call himself a pokemon seeking justice, but he'd feel a bit... awkward claiming items that might have been stolen to begin with.
Still, he figured that it was such a small pile, that it'd make no difference if he just took them. Besides, if he really felt so bad, he could just return the items.

Tat saw the spilled bag of merchandise and poke as soon as he came into the room. He was glad to see the bag; the reason he was chasing down this criminal was to get the general store back up as soon as possible. He took the poke and berries, and made a mental note to return the money and pay for the berries after he caught this guy/girl.

(( The party has now moved onto F2! ))
After having taken his share of the items, Zeerum moved on- saying to himself that it'd be foolish to be so conflicted over a small bundle of items.
Up ahead, another pokemon spotted the two traveling. They showed themselves as a Misdreavus from behind the trees, swaying back and forth. While not appearing to be too hostile, they were still rearing for some sort of reaction from the other two pokemon.

Tat moved on to the second floor, hoping that he would be able to stop the criminal before he could manage to escape. As he saw the misdreavus, he felt a sudden wave of anxiety wash over him, mixed with a hint of dejavu. He attempted to walk right past it, hoping the ghost-type wouldn't notice him.

Zeerum was ready for a fight; however, the Rattata didn't seem to feel the same way, seeming to act as if he wanted to avoid the pokemon at all costs. He shrugged, figuring that he had enough experience as it was. He moved on with the Rattata, not particularly caring about if they got caught or not, but wouldn't start something for the sake of it.
The Mischievous frowned, not getting the reaction they wanted. One of them was nervous, but not in a sort of funny, 'run away screaming' way. It wasn't long before they moved on, likely going to find other, more 'entertaining' pokemon.
(( The party has moved onto F3! ))
Ahead, there appeared to be a strange tree of sorts. Stranger than the rest, that is. The branches were straight, even more so than 'normal' trees. On each branch was a differently colored string.
On the tree was a wooden plack that had three colors- there was also a question below that, asking what color would result if the three were mixed together, and below that, were the words 'pull me'.

Tat saw the tree as soon as he entered the new floor, Tat noticed that something was up. Looking ahead, he saw a strange looking tree with three strings tied to it. He read the riddle, having taught himself to read using the newspapers that made up his bed in skyline city, and looked at the colors below it. Since the forest was dark, he couldn't tell what the colors were, but figured that the result would correspond with one of the strings hanging from above. I'll just pull all of the strings. I can take whatever this thing dishes out. So tat pulled on the middle string with his teeth, and used his claws to pull on the other two, without a second thought.

Zeerum spotted the tree, seeing all the strings that were attached to it. He wondered, did the dungeon pokemon set these puzzles up? Or, somehow, did the dungeon itself generate them?
He went up the tree, reading the riddle, and squinting to examine the colors. What would the colors be mixed together...? "What, do ye' need some sort'of art-skills ta' explore dungeons now?" his own snarking aside, he did try to figure out what the answer might be.
Before he could really do so, however, the Rattata had already pulled the strings- all three of them, "Ey, what do ye think ye're doin?!" he yelled. He was sure that he could handle himself as well, but he'd rather not put himself in danger anyways!

At first, there was nothing, but it wasn't long before a fairly angry-looking Yamask appeared, rearing for a fight. It looked as if battling the other pokemon was avoidable.
