So, you've decided to join the forum. That's great, thank you for doing so!
You might have noticed the stars by the usernames, part of these 'ranks' is for fun and bragging rights. However, they also play another role.
Introducing member rewards- a way to encourage member activity! Basically, if you have a certain amount of stars, you can post here to collect a sort of reward.
You're also free to collect previous rewards if you haven't already.
Rewards:
Free, X & Y celebration gifts!- Receive 500 Poke, 2 Oran Berries, 2 Reviver Seeds, and one held item (but, to receive it, you must say what type you'd want it for).
★ 1 star, the beginner's package- Receive five, random berries, as well as a random held item and 1000 Poke.
★★ 2 stars, team member badge- The ability to make one, third level pokemon, but all other restrictions still apply. You may collect this and not immediately use it; if using this, put in the form that you are doing so. Alternatively, you can also instantly evolve a second-evolution pokemon.
★★★ 3 stars, an explorer's discovery- 50 points are added to your maximum move points for one character. Put this in your form if you are using this.
★★★★ 4 stars, dedication pays off- You may make one third evolution pokemon, as well as have another 50 points added to a new character's move point limit; you can use these two things separately. The above applies.
★★★★★ 5 stars, a thrill seeker's honor- An honor for anyone that ever reaches this! You may make one legendary pokemon with 50 extra move points to spend. However, some legendaries will be off-limits; details can be discussed. For the most part, demi-god legendaries such as Dialga, Reshiram, and other 'main' legendaries are off limits.
After the fifth star is reached, every 50 posts a user can collect a random item, or wait 100 posts to get a rarer item. Or, they can collect 500 or 1000 poke depending on if they waited 50 or 100 posts.
