General Store Robbed?!

I was one of the first on the scene when the General Store, a modest establishment that provides a variety of items to adventurers alike, had been robbed. However, it wasn't like you'd expect- no forced entry, no threats, and the shelves and other stock have been wiped clean. How, you ask?

"Hypnotized to give up everything!" Miya, one of the pokemon and family members running the store reports.

"Yes, hypnotized... I-I didn't mean to help... I-I..." Maya, sister to Miya and also helped to run the store. I didn't question either further, both clearly shaken up by the event.

"We were all hypnotized to give up all our stock." Yina, the eldest sister, manager, and takes care of the finances at the store, reported, "The pokemon, a Hypno, was gentlemanly enough... at first. Before we knew it, we all were coerced into unloading our stock and giving it to the pokemon, and only realized what we had done when it was too late..." The usually stoic sister seemed to be holding back tears as well, and went to comfort her sisters.

Their parents have returned with more stock, but it's nothing compared to what they had. There's only so long before they run out... They report that they regret leaving their children so unguarded.

The family is giving a big reward to whoever can catch the criminal(s?) who did this, and even more if they can manage to get all the stock back.

There's rumors that the pokemon that did this is hiding in Misty Forest, and as such, groups of pokemon have swarmed there, either wanting the reward, justice- or perhaps both.

This is the very first, official event of Pokemon Mystery Dungeons Beyond! However, being that this is the first, this is more of a test run to see what works and what doesn't. Feedback is very much encouraged! In the next event, I promise that there'll be more of a choice in terms of what happens.

Anyhow, a few guidelines in terms of joining:

• You can have up to two pokemon join this event. If they're already in a dungeon thread, then it will be paused while they participate in this. If they're in a thread with more than one member/character, then the thread will go on without them, but they're free to join in again once the event is over. The members in said dungeon thread can also agree to pause the thread.
  
• There will be a posting order, of course, and will be ordered in terms of who joins first. However, if someone doesn't post in five days, then their turn will be skipped and they will be messaged about posting. If they're skipped two more times, then they will be dropped from the event, but half of all items and poke earned will be given to them.
  
  If one reports they're busy, then it's alright for them to skip their turns, but they must be present for the final battle. If someone wants/has to quit the event, then they'll be given half of all the items and poke they earned in the thread.
  
• This event can be mentioned in IC threads, but most of the action will occur in the official dungeon thread.
  
• The event will go through to the end of Misty Forest, but they will not have to face the Ariados- rather, the pokemon who stole the general store stock will serve as the boss.
  
• Signups will be open until 9/8/13, or September 8th.
  

Our characters can split off into groups. Each group will take different path that gives no advantages to the other groups, other than what might be numbers. Unlike other dungeon threads, there can be five pokemon to each group.

It's mostly for team bandit, although I also thiought that it was interesting to have Tat paired up with zeerum, so there's that too.

Razzle: Just use the joining form to join in~

EDIT: Actually, while using the form is encouraged, you really just need to state which characters (up to two) you'll be using, and what group you want them to be in. Groups are from 1-4, and can have up to five pokemon in them. At the moment, all are open to more characters!

Sign me up as well. I'll pool in Arizen, as well as another charrie I'm making.
As for groups: One could be in group 1, while the other could be in 2. I don't mind which ends up where.
