Nix walked along the plains with a little notebook in her hand and a pencil in her other, making notes of the pokemon she passed in small writing. Her bright eyes darted from pokemon to pokemon and wrote down their looks and their types and even the personalities of the pokemon that seemed to act the same and she even had a list of the pokemon that looked different depending on their gender which was growing the more she walked.

She wanted to know all she could about all the pokemon she could so that when she was able to to make her mystery dungeon team so that she was able to see a pokemon and know how she needed to battle when she came to do her work,a nd this was a great place to go to simply look at the pokemon that passed through or lived there and make note of them and the way they were. She smiled as she turned another page of her notepad, "methinks a break" she said to herself as she found a little spot to sit and rest her feet

Taryn grateful for her hood as she has trekked through the more windy and rainy parts of the Plains. she sighed finding a nearby bush for other's people discretion as she pulled off her skin like pants to rid them of the mass of water and leaves she had collected. Having been blown and washed into them as she stumbled through a massive clump of trees. Still she shook herself dry pulling her skin back on climbing up upon a roof to look about the village. "This's looks like a good place to relax for today." she grinned as the thought of fresh fruits came to mind. Not just any kind the free kind she stooped into a common lizard like stance from roof to roof in search of the market.

Nix sat down on the ground and bent over to rub her feet a little with one hand while the second ran her pen though her notepad and placed it beside her, she was getting peckish now but she also didnt have very much food on her and she didnt want to eat any of it since she would need it for her travels between towns and so she sighed at herself. "i hate doing this" she muttered to herself as she stood up and then lifted a hand and ran it through her hair to make the hair messy before she grabbed her notepad and stuck it in her backpack which she stuffed beside a rock where she had been sitting.

She walked over to one of the pokemon walking around and gently tugged on his tail earning a turn from him, he was one she had already seen today. A water type known as dewott. She nodded down at her feet and then started to talk, "erm sir? i dont suppose you have any food?" she asked as she lifted her head to look at him with her newly messed up hair blowing little. "My parents are gone and i only have what i wear to move from town to town, would you be able to help?" she asked and the pokemon frowned and looked around and after spotting no-one that could be her mother he sighed. "you poor thing, here you go" he said softly as she pulled a large apple from his bag and offered it to her which nix took with an honest smile, "thank you" she said before she hugged him quickly and then darted away out of sight to her bags hiding place

Today was quite an eventful one for Arizen. He had decided to explore the plains, and not a nimute passed before he was on the territory of a hostile tribe of Mankey. He had tried to flee, but was soon surrounded by a swift group of 6 Mankey. Needless to say, they were relentless, giving Arizen a good workout for around 15 minutes before most of them were knocked out. The 2 remaining Mankey ran off, presumably to summon their leader, but Arizen fled the scene before anyone else could intervene.

He must have been far from any more hostility after that, as none of the other various Pokémon seemed to mind his presence as he walked past. Among these various Pokémon was what seemed to be a Kirlia, but with different colouring to most. So, this is a Shiny. You don't see one of those every day.

Nix darted behind the rock where she had hidden her bag and then looked around before taking sharp stone from it and using it to cut the apple into slices on the rocks surface, she then slipped a hand into her bag and took out a small cloth which she placed beside the apple slices and then she lifted them into the cloth and wrapped it up before taking a single small slice for herself to eat now. She didn't like having to ask for food and she would make what she had last as along as she could but it was something she had to do, she had no job or no way to get any money and berries were hard to find with everyone wanting to get to eat them for dungeon mission, she so badly wanted to find a team but she was only partly evolved and many pokemon didnt like shinies either so she didnt think anyone would want hers in theirs. Not that it wouldnt stop her from making her own, when and if she ever found someone to do it with

[Arizen]

Arizen immediately stopped at his tracks. He was rather fascinated with this Pokémon's unique colouring, for a Shiny is indeed a rare sight. He only took one step forward before sensing a hostile presence.

"Kyaaah!"

He turned around to see a lone Mankey jumping toward him with the intention of punching him. He immediately ducked, and the Mankey flew over his head and was now tumbling towards the Kirlia's area.

Nix put her one slice of free apple in her mouth and then set about tying the ends of her cloth together carefully before she slid them into her tiny black backpack, this gave her 3 slices of lum bread and most of an apple to live off of for a while. She tough that could be a weeks worth of food, she had nothing else to eat after all. She frowned a little before a noise hand her look up and she saw a very angry Pokemon flying through the air towards her and one standing back up behind it, it seemed the one coming at her had attacked the second and missed. She lifted her hands quickly and pressed them together before she sent a shot of purple light forwards that blasted into the other pokemon and knocked it sideways and into a small shrub beside the edge of town

[Arizen]

Arizen was impressed by the Kirlia's quick response as she blasted away the helpless Mankey into a faraway shrub. He took a few steps towards the Kirlia. "Those are impressive reflexes you have there. Out of curiosity, are you a trained explorer?"

Nix took her free moment to chew on the bit of food in her mouth and swallow it in case the other pokemon came back and tried to battle her more but it seemed not to want to and didnt reappear at all, though something else moved to nixs side and she turned to see another pokemon walking over to her. "Not at all, i use my moves to help myself live though so i find i get batter with reacting faster. Side effect of a life on a wilder side" she said before she looked down at her feet as she thought of her wild years alone as a feral girl. "Though i must admit, i've been trying to find a team to join so i could explore, i would love to" she said as she picked up on the exact words the other pokemon had used when he spoke to her

[Arizen]

"I see. I just assumed that you were, given your skill in self defense." He began to walk off, but an idea started to form in his head. Wait. She's not an official explorer, but I could really benefit from an ally in my search. Since I have absolutely no leads though, we could still help each other get stronger so I'm fully prepared if I do find some sort of lead. He turned back to the Kirlia before speaking again. "Hey, I have an idea. What if we were to form our own team?"

Nix smiled a little as the taller Pokemon spoke and she went a little red in the face, "I just have good reactions for danger" she said in a modest voice before she looked up. She could feel the emotions of the male beginning to rise and she could feel excitement so she waited for him to speak before she blinked in shock at his words, no words of her own able to come out. She took a moment to take a deep breath and then she nodded, "I would love too, but we have only just met and I know nothing about you" she said with a little sideways smile that would have been the beginnings of a frown if she hadnt been so excited

"Well, That's fair enough. If we intend to start a team, we need to know each other first." He held his hand forward to shake hands with the Kirlia. "I'm Arizen, a Lucario. And you are?"

Nix smiled as the other pokemon seemed to understand her point of view and she took the hand he offered her and shook it quickly but lightly, "i'm nix, a kirlia as you know but im also a shiny so thats something" she said with a grin. She knew the other pokemon knew that but it was something she liked to always put in, many happened to wonder but not know for sure so it was more for the sake of being clear and simple. "Do you think we need to know anything important, names is a good start and we'll need one for the team but anything else do you think?" she said with a little grin as she dropped the other pokemons hand and let her own fall to her side

"Anything else?" Arizen pondered over that for a moment, before replying. "We don't need to do this right now, but we'll also need to know each other's abilities. That way, it's easier to work together."

Nix looked at her soon to be team mate and smiled as he spoke again and she nodded, "how about that and moves?" she asked before she tilted her head and thought for a small moment, "well my ability is Synchronize and my moves are confusion, shadow sneak, wish and confuse ray" she said over a few moment as she needed to challenge herself to remember all her moves in one go
