Taryn munched on fresh apple revelling under the satifying crunch it made. Skyline city what a site to behold! It was here that she she hoped to find her prized bandana scarf to wrap about her neck in this blistering supper heat. Of course being the reptile she was it was glorious behold though not such with the added bagged of her second skin hanging at her neck and sagging at her thighs. Inhaling the hustle and bustle of the city voices called in various tones. Aggressive, calm, rapid news flew about as she looked to the tall many levels buildings to which richer pokemon dwelled in. No need for them to go about modest shacks or huts. They owned the day and night powerful in every right. Milky eyes looked about as she casually pilfered more apples into her saggy skin from a local vendor occupied by a much prettier chansey admiring his wares. "I could get used to city life!" she chuckled.

So, this was Skyline City? Zeerum's current client for his escorting services had contacted him by mail, saying to meet him in the city made of clouds. By the time the Carracosta arrived by air-balloon, he realized that he was earlier than he was supposed to be, leaving ample for him to explore the city himself, having never visited it until now.
It wasn't so much the noise and bustle that surprised Zeerum, he got used to it when trying to advertise his services in Port Neiville, but rather, how... 'fancy' everything seemed. He could only imagine how anyone could manage to build or construct anything out of clouds. Or how he wasn't falling through them, the thought of being so far from the ground disturbed him for some reason, and he tried to keep his mind off of it.
While he couldn't keep himself from some respect for the city, he also felt as if he didn't belong here. That the clouds he was walking on might give way and eject him. He wasn't used to riches, rather, the various scratches over his shell and small, but noticeable scars showed that he was used fighting for what he needed in dungeons. What was it like, he wondered, to have everything you wanted instantly? At the same time, such a life must be a sheltered one, he figured.
He was so focused on the sights around him, he almost didn't notice a Scraggy, but managed to spot them and stopped himself in front of her, "Ah, sorry." he said, backing up, "Just can't help but notice the clouds, ya' know? It's just..." he paused, a bit embarrassed to admit out loud that this was one place he hadn't been to, having always been proud of his experiences.

Taryn felt the world suddenly become cooler as she totted after form the vendor only to have a towering battle wron Carracosta stand before her. What the hell? she thought looking up at his massive form at first she thought of running her digits along the wide shell that protected him then froze as soon as he spoke. "O-oh, yeah they truly are somthin' What you never been so high before?" she spoke before her mind could react bracing herself to bullet if he grew enrragded by her simple question as small as she was.

"I've been high up plenty times before- but those were places still connected to the ground, ya' see." Zeerum explained, but paused. He was just trying to explain himself to some pokemon who, from his impression, probably hadn't gone to half the places he went to. Still... he saw no point in getting his shell bent out of place- if he was younger he might have pulled up an attitude, but by now he saw no need to fight unless he had to, otherwise it was a waste of energy.
"So, how many times have you been here, then?" he asked, "It's sort of a hassle tryin' to make the commute up here, but then again, I went bya' hot air balloon ride."

((quick, does this happen before or after the misty forest thread?)) Tat's eyes slowly opened. He had always been a heavy sleeper, though he never thought it would ever be advantageous to him in his new home. as it turned out, you tend not to notice how people look down on you when you're asleep, as apposed to when you're out walking around. As the rattata lifted up the box he called his home, the bright rays of sunlight hit his eyes, nearly blinding him. as his eyes readjusted, he saw a scraggy and a carracosta outside his ally, perhaps having an argument.

I would believe so, as I have no idea what that is haha. Secondly Taryn is a scrafty not a scraggy ))
Taryn scoffed inwardly by his wizened speech. Judsging by the battle worn shell it would be a bad idea to rouse such an elder and so she merely shrugged. Gazing up at his sunken armoured face once more "Welll I actually climbed, and cheeted a bit when the branches grew a bit too sparse. Thank the heavens for Flying types eh? Though if I knew there was a hot air balloon I would've been able to take a nap!" she chuckled. Still she enjoyed his massive company nonetheless "Are you some sort of gaurdian then?"

Now having gotten completely out of the box the rattata called home, he went out to the entrance of his alleyway to observe the two pokemon. There's something familiar about that big one. But where...? The rattata decided that it wouldn't hurt to get a closer look, so he walked out, stomach growling.

(( Knox, I've PMed you about our private thread. ))
"Well, color me impressed!" Zeerum said, not just saying it out of politeness. His bulky size, while good for battle, made it difficult to climb, at least compared to what the Scrafty had climbed. He couldn't help but chuckle as well at the image of the pokemon suddenly jumping onto a passing flying pokemon, and trying to ride it up to the flying city.
He paused at her question, "... Sort'of. I'll escort ye' to wherever ye need ta' go fer' tha' right price." he said. His eyes glanced over a nearby alleyway, and happened to spot the Rattata and... something felt familiar about them. He looked away; he always found it hard to get to know anyone better, and as such, wasn't one for reunions.

As Tat walked along, looking for places to eat, he accidentally bumped into the scraggy he saw earlier. as He rubbed his head, he looked to his left and got a better look at the carracosta, then suddenly remembered who he was. You're that carracosta from the forest!

She frowned not in the least bit expecting to pay. Of course she had the funds stashed in the wealth of her pants...somewhere at least amongst the fruit she was storing causing her to slightly slower than normal in her pace. She stroked her chin lightly shifting with him at the voice suddenly. The massive male shifted seemingly unconcerned with what she saw was a rattata. Odd fellows they were her milky grey eyes looked up at him "Do you know that being?" she asked curious.

Unfortunately for Zeerum, he couldn't quite ignore the Rattata so easily, as they'd made their presence known by bumping into who he was talking to. He'd rather not make a fuss by blatantly denying ever knowing them, either, "Yeah, sort'of. Both of us took this mission havin' ta' do with catchin' this escaped criminal- although, he must'ave escaped due to incompetence on the cops part..."

Taryn snorted. "Oh well then....that is something. I've never been one to go and play the 'hero' sort of." she frowned slightly as she ogled the battle worn shell of his tentatively tracing her fingers along them.
