Dungeon threads are GMed by mods, and at the moment, I'm the only mod who's really running them. I'm not as active as I would want to be, and as such, threads can go slowly.
So, I'd like to recruit some mods for dungeon threads. Please note than other than the poke you get for posting, there won't be any other rewards, but the work and effort would certainly be appreciated.

So, I'd like to recruit some mods for dungeon threads. Please note than other than the poke you get for posting, there won't be any other rewards, but the work and effort would certainly be appreciated.
Some guidelines for those that are interested:
- Make sure you understand all the stickied things in the 'Job Lists and Dungeon Requests' section, particularly the things about dungeons. You don't have to memorize them by heart, even I haven't done that, but make sure they aren't confusing to you. If they are, feel free to post here if anything needs to be explained.
- You especially need to understand the dungeon mechanics explained in the 'Pokemon Dungeon Guide', which is used to determine what happens in dungeons. If anything needs to be explained, please post here. Again, you don't need to remember the guide, as I mainly use it as a reference, but rather understand how to use it.
- It's encouraged that you be active. I can be gone for a day or two sometimes, but usually no more than that.
- If you can, list whatever experience you might have in modding/GMing threads elsewhere.
- There's two spots open, and those that get them will be recognized as staff. Other than that, no preferential treatment will be given to them. More than two can apply for them.
- If you wish to apply, just say so here, as well as any concerns and questions you might have about the position. Those that wish to apply for the spot should do so before 9/16, or September 16th. After that, all applicants will go through 'test dungeon threads', where they'll lead me through a short dungeon thread (3 floors) to see how well they know the system, but other than the poke gained from posting, all items and poke gained from the thread will be discarded. After these threads are completed, I'll chose the mods.
Suggestions for those applying:
- When I'm modding a thread, usually I check whether an item or poke is found first. Then, I check whether there's an enemy encounter, and then a puzzle if there's no enemy. If there's neither an enemy or puzzle, then it's a random event that usually doesn't reflect on a character's stats.
- Keep track of everything- I usually open notepad and write everything from the characters healths to the stats of the enemies I've generated.
- I use this to generate the numbers used for determining what happens. If something has a, say, 30/100 chance, that means that something must have a 30 or lower for it to happen, and if it goes higher than 30, that means it doesn't happen.
- I also use this to determine what items are found, and usually randomly generate what's found. I use the pokedex on the same site to check what moves enemies might know.
- Part of dungeon threads is RPing. While the members usually react to what happens in the thread, don't be afraid to have some fun with this! Don't worry, RPing skills won't be judged when I'm choosing a mod.
- The dungeon guide can change when I find that something needs to be changed. Usually I'll post in the guide when it does change, and be sure to check it when I do.
- When determining damage, I usually find the damage of the attack itself (multiply it by 1.5 if it's the same type as the pokemon), add on according to what the stats determine, and then take away from the total according to the enemy's endurance and evasiveness stat (and divide by 2 if it's not super effective, or multiply by 2 if it is super effective). Then I generate whether it's a critical hit or not, as well as determine whether other effects might occur if there are any. Vise versa when it's an enemy attacking.
