Appearance:

Kuranosuke looks just like your everyday Purrloin. He's purple, tan, and fuchsia, and he has fur all over. His eyes are emerald green, and the pupils are always slit. He stands at a single foot, a mere four inches shorter than your average Purrloin, and he weighs only nineteen pounds. Okay, maybe he isn't like your average Purrloin, being a bit smaller, despite his age. He also likes to wear whatever kind of bandanna, scarf, or pair of glasses he can find, so you might sometimes see him decorated as such.

Personality:

Kuranosuke is a selfish cat. He does what he wants, when he wants, and only for himself. Getting him to do something for the benefit of others is like teaching a rock to walk--erm, the non-Pokemon kind of rock. There are occasions when he will do something for the sake of another, but that's only once in a blue moon, sometimes not even then. His loyalty is very questionable, and he has been known to simply leave the company of another in the middle of a dungeon or turn on them while they're down. Hey, they had something shiny on them, and he wanted it. Speaking of which, the best way to somewhat gain his loyalty is by bribing him with cash or items.

Bio:

Kuranosuke didn't always live in Candle Town--in fact, he detests the place because of all the ghost types lingering around. No, he was born far off in an unknown mountain as the youngest of three. He had--emphasis on the had--two older brothers, one of two years his senior and the other of five. He never knew his father, and he was told that the tom had left long before he hatched. His mother was a strong, independent soul, and she was sure to teach her boys the ways of being alone as soon as possible. In fact, she kicked the eldest out a year after Kuranosuke's birth. At four, his other brother was kicked out. At seven, he was kicked out, and he never saw his mother again.

He somehow reconnected with his brothers, something about them still lingering around the mountain until it was his turn or something. He never truly understood what they were saying. Either way, they brought him into a world of darkness, taking him into towns and stealing from the rich and poor alike. It wasn't until he was thirteen that his brothers both met their tragic ends, falling from a cliff and on to the spiky rocks below after being chased by a rescue team. Kuranosuke, however, allowed himself to be captured, only to escape on the way back to the nearest town. He fled, running until he reached Candle Town where he remains to this day.
