(( This is a test dungeon thread for cometblaze, to sort of run him through the ropes of being a dungeon mod. The dungeon guide is here for reference. I'd also like to ask cometblaze to show his odds for what happens. Ie; when generating for items, enemy encounters, and other things, put what number was generated out of the chance that it happened. Don't hesitate to ask questions! ))

((Question: Should I treat this test as a job post (and if so, what's the job?), or a dungeon request? Also, what are the stats of the Pokémon you will be using for this test? after that, I think we can get started.))

(( Well, I suppose that's up to you. However, this thread will only be about three floors at most.
As for my character, they'll be statless.
Also, you're free to either use Berry Meadow or some sort of other location for this thread. ))

The meadow seems quaint, with a light breeze going through the grass and bushes that make up the seemingly harmless mystery dungeon. If a pokemon was alert, it could hear a faint "help!" emanating from within the dungeon.

(( I'll be using a sort of NPC for this dungeon. ))
The Grovyle came to the dungeon entrance, knowing that Berry Meadow looked to be harmless, and being a rather easy dungeon (at least to those with some sort of experience), it could be said to be that way.
He paused, swearing he heard something... a cry for help? Getting caught in this dungeon, even as easy as it was, was possible- after all, it was still an unpredictable dungeon. He went in, intent on seeing where this cry came from.

((Figures I have an enemy on my first try. )) Rolls: Poke: 32/100 amount:57 Item: 11/100 Enemy: 86/100 Puzzle: 10/100 Enemy stats & moveset: stats: strength5, special3, cleverness3, luck5, endurance4 moves: Leer, Peck, Poison Sting ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As you enter the Mystery Dungeon, you see a Nidoran(M) blocking your path, staring at you with a glare that would scare away most pokemon. Behind it you can see a rather large pile of poke(57), which seems to be what the Nidoran is guarding. This pokemon doesn't look like it's going to leave without a fight, unless you can manage to outsmart it. ((EDIT: Modified Nidoran's stats to include and account for endurance))

The Grovyle immediately saw the Nidoran in his way, knowing that he had a disadvantage in this situation. Still, this was Berry Meadow; surely the pokemon couldn't be that hard.
Deciding to fight, he ran forward with a Quick Attack.

((can you come up with a nickname for the testing Grovyle? It would make keeping variety in the posts a bit easier. Something as simple as "Grover" would be nice. Also, really starting to respect how much work you put into this forum. )) Quick Attack crit: 30/100 damage: 4 (8-endu) poison point: 38/100; No Nidoran hp: 16/20 ------------------------------ Peck Crit: 76/100 Damage: 13 (4*2+str) Grovyle hp: 87/100 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before the Nidoran has time to react it is Critically Hit in the under-belly by the Grovyle's Quick Attack, knocking it against the wall. After steadying itself, the pokemon charges at the Grovyle, thrusting out its horn and hitting the intruder with a Peck.

(( Sure- I can see why it'd be confusing. And thank you! I just enjoy seeing others interact with the site. Also, for the ability poison point, there's a 30% chance of it working, so I'd say that it'd be a 30/100 chance of it working. I've also updated the dungeon guide about status conditions. For the move peck, since it's a flying type, wouldn't it be double the damage? )) Greg couldn't help but smirk at the damage the he'd done to the opposing pokemon, but of course, they wouldn't surrender just yet. Greg felt the pain of the Peck, only increased by the type advantage, and was knocked over. Still, at least a poison attack wasn't used. He got himself up. Thinking that another one of his attacks wouldn't be as effective, he went forward with Quick Attack yet again.

((No, it was fine.)) Quick Attack crit: 43/100 damage: 1 ((figured if an attack hits it should do atleast 1 damage)) poison point: 16/100; poisoned Nidoran Hp:15/20 ------------------------------ Poison Sting crit: 43/100 damage: 13 (4*2+5) Greg's Hp: 74/100 ------------------------------ Poison Status damage: 5 Greg's Hp: 69/100 ------------------------------- The Quick Attack lands on the Nidoran's head, dealing some damage. Unfortunately, the Grovyle also got pricked in the process, rendering it Poisoned (Poison Point). Seeing an opportunity, the Nidoran hits Greg with a Poison Sting as soon as the grass-type stopped moving, hitting it in square in the chest and knocking the pokemon down. ((Greg is now poisoned, RP as you see fit.))

Greg felt a sharp pain coursing through his body, causing him to flinch and hold his arms together. Wait... Dang it! He should have been more careful about attacking the opposing pokemon- before he had anymore time to curse himself, the Nidoran had ran forward, hitting him in the chest. Greg fell to the ground on his back, managing to get back up, but knew that the poison might be the thing to do him in. He had to use his moves carefully.
Clearing his throat, he used Screech to belt out an earsplitting noise, that surely would stun the other pokemon to the point of weakening them.

((Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I did my best to post in all of my other threads, but if you could please wait until I can get to a computer for us to continue the test [I'm on a phone right now], I would be extremely grateful. Thanks for [hopefully] understanding!))
