Jack grinned upon noticing the berries. Finally, about time they got some! He ran towards them, but dug his heals into the ground and stopped upon seeing the Pidgey in front of him. He barred his teeth as a warning, ready to attack, but paused upon hearing Chris, "The Snivy has a point, you know. We could end this without'a battle."
The Pidgey paused as well, quickly glancing to the bush, and then back to the two pokemon, "... You're right." they said, "But don't try to take my share, got that?" they said before turning to the bush, using their beak to pull out a berry for themselves.

Chris picked up his berry and walk away, "I don't see how you stand this kind of life..."...he suddenly looks surprised "N-NOT trying to sound offensive!...its just...people seem to jump the gun a little..." He said in a slightly embarrassed tone

As soon as they got their berry, the Pidgey ignored them, going away from them in their own way.
Jack took a berry for himself before walking away with Chris, chuckling at how embarrassed the Snivy was, "None taken. I can see why you'd think that. In a way, it's 'survival of the fittest' here, and ya' don't know if someone's just gonna' take your supplies, or just use you for training fodder. I've heard it's worse in other dungeons." he paused, "But at the same time, there's a sort of... excitement to it. Nothing ever gets boring here with everything changing all the time."
As they walked, there was another patch of berries by them, this time they were Pecha Berries, around three of them hanging there.
A Lillipup came out of the grasses, seeing the two pokemon. Assuming that they'd have to fight the two pokemon to get to the berries, they prepared to attack.

"i can imagine it would not be boring..." he said also wondering what it would be like here "Back at my village dungeon pokemon would come to us for supplies...if they could get to us...but sometimes the pokemon that come it...where Not so keen on being nice..." he sighed
He groaned "Not this again" He said under his breath, he turned towards jack "Do any of these pokemon know what math is?" he sighed and look at the lillipup " Look...theres enough berries for each of us...DONT WASTE energy that you might need if someone REALLY wanted to attack you!" He said with a slightly annoyed tone.

"The Snivy's right," Jack said, "if you count them, there's three- enough for all of us!"
The Lillipup paused, seeming to lean over so that they could count the berries and realized that the two pokemon were right. Still suspicious, they went around the pokemon, eventually making it to the berry bush to take a berry for theirself.
"To be fair, I would have assumed the same. After all, we could have decided that it'd just be one more berry for us, right?" Jack said, going over to the push to pick a berry for himself.

He thought "True..." he picked his berry and started walking again admiring the pretty flowers and berries of the meadow. He again wanted to past time "So...do you have any family..." He ask but then said "Of course if you dont wanna talk about your family thats fine by me..." he said a little worried because sometimes talking about family can open old wounds.

"Ah, it's fine... Not much to talk about anyways. I don't know much about my family, really- my mother just raised me, and when I left her, I haven't seen her again since, no thanks to the ever changing landscape." despite saying this, Jack smiled, "However, I have seen one of my brothers or sisters on occasion. So far, they've all been happy reunions."
As they were talking, there was a light ahead, indicating that was the exit out of the dungeon, and from there would lead to Flower Hill.

"Well..." Jack paused before his face broke out in a grin, "Be sure to not mistake another Lillipup for me, alright? Not everyone's as friendly as me. Who knows, maybe I'll go and see what the fuss this 'Flower Hill' place is all about!" he said, "Anyhow... See you again sometime!"
That being said, Jack waved before turning around, heading off into the grasses.
(( Yaaay, our first complete dungeon thread! I'll let you have the last post before I finally lock this. ))
