Tekka speeded through the the land around Port Neivelle. Passerby looked at the blur of a bug as the Ninjask zipped past them without giving them a thought. Tekka was heading back from a trip to the port, as that was where the post office was located.
Tekka had just quit her job as a delivery-mon and was blindly speeding back home to find someone to recruit for a team. She wanted more adventure than just delivering letters. Sure, she was in dungeons a lot during her deliveries, but more often than not she had to speed through them. The Ninjask usually liked being fast, but for once she just wanted to slow down so she could find treasure and help Pokemon by doing jobs and missions.
Tekka buzzed around before finally stopping at the edge of a cliff. Even though she could just keep flying past the cliff, Tekka wanted to stop and rest for a minute and take a breather. After all that flying she parched, as Tekka was flying at her highest speed in places where the hot summer sun could reach her shell.
Tekka, for once, slowed down. She began seaching around Baybon Cliff for some shade or something to drink, and she eventually came to a cave. She slipped in just and hovered at the mouth of the tunnel. The protection from the sun was nice and cool, and the Ninjask decided to stay and rest for a little while. Tekka began to drift into the tunnel, not knowing that other Pokemon made their homes inside of it nor that the tunnel was heavily guarded.

It was just another hot summers day for Genia. Even she, a water type, felt hot under the sun's rays, and looked down at the waters below. Gosh, it was so tempting to just jump down into the cool waters to escape the heat.
She shook her head, crossing her arms and taking a determined stance. Although she couldn't help but feel as if she should be out doing... something other than guarding the cliff residence, which around this time was just standing around for the most part, Genia also felt as if she had a responsibility to keep to her task. What would it show of her to just abandon it now? Nothing good, that's for sure.
However, despite her determination, she couldn't ward off boredom, and wished that there'd be some pokemon she could chase off to relieve it. This seemed to come in the form of what appeared to be a flying bug pokemon. Genia noticed something around her, and as she turned around, she saw the pokemon at the tunnel entrance.
"Hey, what're you doing there?!" she shouted, running over to the pokemon. She was immediately prepared to blast at the pokemon with her Water Gun should they not get out.

"Eh?" Tekka buzzed in surprise. She hadn't noticed the bulky blue lizard-like Pokemon until now. The Ninjask cocked her head to one side, which ended up tiltling her whole body in midair. The Ninjask quickly straightened up and began to speak.
"Well, I was at the port doing some business and when that was finished and I was heading back home I ended up taking a rest here. I'm just looking for some shade and possibly something to drink, but I see I'm not welcome here, am I?" she began speedily, only pausing for a brief second for the other Pokemon's reply. The pause was really too short for anyone to answer, and Tekka just went on talking. "So, uh, I can leave if ya' want. I mean, I'd like to rest for a little bit, and escape the sun and all but if I'm a bother - don't be afraid to say so if I am! - I'll just be on my way." She then went silent, the only noise she was making being the sound from her large wings keeping her in up in the air as she waited for a reply.

"Well-" Genia said, about to reply, but was interrupted when the bug pokemon continued to talk anyways, to her seeming as if they were too impatient to let her talk. She grunted in frustration, but the pokemon was finished before she could have a chance to interrupt.
"Well," she began again, almost expecting another quick interruption, "you're right. About not havinga' right to be here." she said, having understood most of what they were trying to say, but it was hard to remember an exact quote due to how fast they were talking, "I mean really- do you do this in other pokemon's places too? Just waltz in like ya' own the place?" she said, acting as if she had a higher authority over the pokemon because she happened to be a guard.
"Now buzz off and don't let me catch you in here again, got that?" Genia said, placing a hand on her side.
Behind her, a black shape appeared for a moment, seeming to observe the two pokemon for a moment and, thinking that they spotted an opportunity, quickly ran past the two.
